    National Construction White Card "CPCCWHS1001 - Safety Awareness Training." It is compulsory for anyone working or installing on a building construction or mine site. This course is approved by the Training Accreditation council and WorkSafe.

    Course Delivery

    Same Day Card Issue!

    Courses Monday to Friday starting at either 9:00am or 1:00pm.

    No booking required, just come in 58 Newcastle Street, Perth

    Duration approximately 2-4 hours.


    You will require a USI which is an Australian Government student number. If you do not have a USI when you can apply on line at its free and takes about 5 minutes. Please bring this with you as we require it prior to issuing your White Card.

    Enrol online and you will receive a download of your student guide and questions sheet to complete. Assistance available 24/7. Once completed simply send it back by return email, your questions will be assessed. We can then issue your card, you will need to attend our office to collect your card as there is a short practical assessment on the use of personal protective equipment which takes about 10 minutes, you can come in anytime.

    On Site

    We can come to your company or school to conduct the training for your employees or students. A minimum of 8 participants is required. The training course takes approximately 4 hours. Please contact us to arrange a convenient time for the training.

    Course details for the Safety Awareness Training Course 

    1. Identify health and safety legislative requirements of construction work

    This element is designed to provide participants with a basic understanding and knowledge base of the OH&S Act and associated regulations, standards, guidelines and Codes of Practice. This unit also examines how these regulatory requirements affect the worker and their relationship to the working environment.

    2. Identify construction hazards and risk control measures

    This unit is designed to provide participants with a broad understanding and knowledge base of building and construction industry risk and hazards. Participants will gain an ability to identify, assess and plan strategies to help control risk and hazards likely to be encountered in the workplace.

    3. Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes.

    This unit is designed to provide participants with an ability to manage their performance in terms of identifying risks and taking the appropriate action in preventing the risk or hazard occurring, this includes awareness of job safety analysis and accident prevention.

    4. Identify incident and emergency response procedures.

    This unit is designed to provide participants with an ability to identify and manage factors and other conditions that may affect their work performance and safety. A factor is anything that may help or hinder the situation.
