Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is a form of assessment that assesses the competency of an individual that may have been achieved through formal or non-formal learning. This is used to determine the extent to which the person meets the requirements specified in the training unit.

If you wish to apply for RPL we will require an up-to-date resume detailing your experience, any qualifications you may have, third party testimonials or any further documents you can provide in relation to your risk management experience.  We can then advise what is required in order to obtain the latest qualification and the cost.

If RPL is granted for any of the units in the qualification then an RPL Questionnaire is required to be completed to demonstrate you have the knowledge for the particular unit. This is a requirement by the Training Accreditation Council and the WA Police.

1 review for CPP41519 Cert IV in Security Risk Analysis

  1. Katrina Mackellar

Just a word of thanks for everything re the cert IV, am hopeful the rest of us will have theirs submitted and finalised in the near future. We all appreciate the attendances and knowledge that yourself and Neil brought to the table and these were of great assistance as the assignments were commenced. It was quite enjoyable having the freedom in the student’s choice and feeling a lot more across what was required, having done the other 2 and putting some creative scope into it.

If we don’t cross paths again, all the best going forward and I thankyou for what was able to be gained from your collective years of experience and guidance.
