Cost: $75.00 you pay when you attend the course. Credit card or cash are accepted. PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARRIVE AT LEAST 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE COURSE STARTS.
It will take you approximately 2 hours to complete. You will need to bring your identification ie passport or Australian Drivers licence and a USI number refer to www.usi.gov.au
You must be able to read and write in fluent English to be able to complete the questionnaire. You will be required to explain in fluent English, how you would deal with several scenarios involving ‘juveniles’ (under age ) and intoxicated persons (drunk).
There are 20 multi choice and 7 short answer questions.
By law it is a requirement that all full time, part time and casual staff members involved in the sale, supply or promotion of alcohol must be trained in the responsible service of alcohol.
RSA training covers roles such as those of:
- Bar Staff
- Bottle Shop Attendants
- Waiters
- Security Officers / Crowd Controllers
- Licensed Club Staff
- Volunteers Working at Licensed functions

Evidence of competence must include demonstrated knowledge of harm minimisation principles to patrons on licensed premises including hotels, taverns, night clubs and restaurants.
